Hey there! I'm Adewale, a Technical Artist specializing in tools & pipeline, shaders, and procedural systems for games and film/archviz production, mostly in Unreal Engine 5 and Houdini and sometimes Unity.
I've been in the games industry since 2017 and specializing in technical art since 2021, most recently Principal Technical Artist at Quiva Games on Edge of Infinity, where I worked on rigging, animation testing and optimization, and R&D into more efficient pipelines and workflows. Alongside that, I've been building out procedural systems and shader work on my own. I enjoy building systems, and I like learning new tools and techniques wherever they come from, inside the games industry or outside it.
Alongside building, I co-founded Africacomicade, a community supporting game developers across Africa, and I recently completed a Master's in Media Arts, Aesthetics and Narration, extending my systems-driven approach into adaptive, narrative environments. Whether I'm deep in a shader graph or building an editor tool from scratch, I care about work that's technically sound and genuinely useful to the person on the other end of it.
Outside of work, I spend my downtime watching movies and playing games.
Open to full-time, contract, both on-site and remote opportunities in games and archviz. Reach out any time.
